Fantastic Four
Thought I'd try clogging. I mean blogging. I've never done either, but if clogging got me 10 points I'd be clogging right now. Instead I'm blogging for 10 points to support my team!
In it to Win it
Hello Fellow Teammates and other Team IT folks -
First, I'd like to send a big thank you to my handsome husband, Rickey, who suggested that I join Team in Training. He loved the program when he did it two years ago, and his enthusiasm encouraged me to join. I'm very happy that I did.
Second, I've been phoning in my workouts since Baby Number Last. He's about to turn 2, and I need to kick my workout up a few dozen notches.
Third, the first week has been great! I've already started to notice a difference in how I feel. Admittedly, most of that difference is what you'd call "sore," but it's a good sore, so I am all in. It's nice to sit and earn points for my team as well, hence the last minute blog for 10 points during Week 1.
Fourth, I'm in a great team! We are a group of powerful women who will stalk and knock out the competition. You know, like the predatory mountain lions we're named for.
Have a terrific Week 2, everyone -
Denise

Hey FF - looking forward to our work-out tomorrow! Sorry I missed Fri, but tagged along with Hodder's team last Thurs instead so we wouldn't lose points. Plus I get to bring back some enemy secrets(: Still unbelieveably sore though!

Fantastic Four
Had a great 1st week of training. Glad I joined! I realized how little upper body strength I have and it was reinforced with how sore I was on Friday.
I can't wait to see my team again on Wednesday!
This cartoon is my motivation to make better eating choices this week:)
Feeling motivated!
Feeling motivated and its due to having an awesome team and trainer! Hoping for lots of workouts and classes this week!
9 out of 10

I worked out six times last week, including our two workouts. As a result of Saturday's BodyPump class, in which I believe I went far past what you instructor types would call "muscle failure," my arms and shoulders are at a 9 out of 10 on the pain scale. You know that little guy in the hospital with the smiley faces that gradually become grim? I am at the one with tears shooting out of its face. So, today should be fun.

F to the 3rd POWER (aka the FIT FAB FOUR!)
So I'm back for my third tour of Team Training - each year has been great! The perfect combination of expertise (and butt-whipping), motivation and competition. I love that my muscles are still a little achy from our Wednesday session...and I'm trying to do my planks everyday so that my sad core (and back) get stronger...looking forward to the new release tomorrow at step.
Sexy Six
Looking forward to our first training session today....I'm sure Kristen will kick our butts! Get out the Advil!

Sexy Six
Figured I better earn some points for the team by blogging as this cold is kicking my butt. Hoping I feel better for tomorrow's session.

Kicked my Axx
Kristen kicked our buts today. You think you are in good shape and then you use those muscles you have not used in awhile. I will need a good soak tonight. Thanks!
Welcome to Team Training 2012!!!
I want to personally welcome you all to Team Training 2012. Thank you for participating in this fantastic program, which will be run by the 3 best personal trainers in North Andover! I wish you all luck in achieving your personal and team goals over the next 8 weeks. However, please keep in mind that luck is not the key to achieving your goals - self-discipline is. Please know that you are accountable for yourself first, and your teammates and trainer next. DO NOT let any of those people down! This will take a lot of hard work, but we can assure you if you follow the guidance and instruction of your trainer, and hold yourself accontable both at the gym and at home (especially with your diet), you will see the results you are looking for!
We are looking forward to working with you and seeing you often! Please use all that we have to offer here at the gym, including the sauna and showers for warm up and recovery. This is a very fun place to be - we will do our best to make this a pleasant experience for you. If we can do anything along the way to help, please let us know. We love your ideas and suggestions (not necessarily your complaints though:))
I will be creating several challenges that can only be found here in the blog. These challenges will earn you and your team extra points, so please pay attention and be sure to read my posts!
Today's challenge:
Please submit thru the comment section of this post a quote that contains the word "fitness", "health", or "nutrition" in it. This will earn you and your team 5 points! Good luck!

It Is So Freaking On

What's up everybody? I'm back, and I'm ready to go. As a bit of history, I participated in this fine program two years ago, during its inaugural session. During week six or so of the 2010 program, my beautiful wife (who is now the competition, as she is on a competing team this year--she will henceforth be referred to as "She Who Is Beautiful But Shall Be Crushed") gave birth to my awesome son. With this came pleasure indescribable, along with a forced familiarization with myriad bodily fluids, and then more awesomeness. Drake is wonderful. However, due to the additional requirements of dad-dom, I am sad to report that the end of that team training was also the end of my desired fitness level. I have since regressed, necessitating a major change. I figure there is no better way to snap back into my healthy ways than with team training 3.0. I am happy and lucky to be back, and I am thrilled that SWIBBSBC is joining me this time.
Another perk is that my girl Charlene is my taskmaster again, along with my Three's Company teammates Karen and Natalie. I write this after finishing my team's second workout for the week and prior to the pain setting in tomorrow. I need this, and I plan to give it my all, both in the workouts and in my personal diet. To SWIBBSBC and all of my fellow team training members, I look forward to an awesome eight weeks with you. But be forewarned: you are up against the collective willpower and utter-strength of Three's Company. We will win this thing.
Truly,
Rickey
Half Dozen D-Nutz??
What do you think M, Th 6pm, like this name?? Cardio Core and More this morning....thanks Charlene! Game on, Dean....that body fat percentage was SHOCKING. I expect to be punished accordingly.
Dean's Team of 6: We Need a Name Soon!
Week 1 of Team Training, and I'm fully on a mission. Yesterday was "Body Pump" followed by "Body Step" (1st time ever).
It went something like this:
Body Pump = 2 huge Thumbs Up.
Body Step = 2 huge Left Feet.
Everyone keep up the good work!! D.B.A.P.

Rapid Blasters...ready to blast some fat & get fit in 2012!!
Well I've taken a few group fitness classes over the past couple of weeks. Sucked but I loved it! Getting used to moving and sweating again. Now it's time for some Team Training...nothing like some good ol' competition to make things happen. :).
Two workouts today for Sexy Six team members
I have a good feeling about the "Sexy Six". Two of us did spin at lunchtime. Points for our team!
Destined for Success - Team Destiny!!!
Normally a lone exerciser, I am excited about mixing up my usual routine and gaining motivation through group training. I am ready to get out of my comfort zone and really sweat. Looking forward to day 2 on Thursday.
