What's up everybody? I'm back, and I'm ready to go. As a bit of history, I participated in this fine program two years ago, during its inaugural session. During week six or so of the 2010 program, my beautiful wife (who is now the competition, as she is on a competing team this year--she will henceforth be referred to as "She Who Is Beautiful But Shall Be Crushed") gave birth to my awesome son. With this came pleasure indescribable, along with a forced familiarization with myriad bodily fluids, and then more awesomeness. Drake is wonderful. However, due to the additional requirements of dad-dom, I am sad to report that the end of that team training was also the end of my desired fitness level. I have since regressed, necessitating a major change. I figure there is no better way to snap back into my healthy ways than with team training 3.0. I am happy and lucky to be back, and I am thrilled that SWIBBSBC is joining me this time.
Another perk is that my girl Charlene is my taskmaster again, along with my Three's Company teammates Karen and Natalie. I write this after finishing my team's second workout for the week and prior to the pain setting in tomorrow. I need this, and I plan to give it my all, both in the workouts and in my personal diet. To SWIBBSBC and all of my fellow team training members, I look forward to an awesome eight weeks with you. But be forewarned: you are up against the collective willpower and utter-strength of Three's Company. We will win this thing.
Truly,
Rickey
OMG Rickey, awesome post! I am almost scared for your wife!!! We will do great over the next 8 weeks, I'm sure! Painfully, Natalie, a.k.a. Janet.
ReplyDeleteInspiring! Tell the SWIBBSBC I can't wait to meet her:) I have to come up with a clever tag for my husband who is doing some individual personal training too...Janet (Do I really have to be Chrissy?) and Jack - help me come up with something on Monday. See you then.
ReplyDeleteI love you, husband, but I shall not be crushed.
ReplyDeleteLove,
SWIBBSnotBC
P.S. We should coordinate our workouts so one of us is always able to lift the baby without wincing.
